Beginning with Service Pack 2 for Dynamics GP 2013, which was introduced at the end of August, Microsoft is instituting a faster new release cycle for its popular Dynamics GP ERP solution. Along with the usual bug fixes, these updates will also include added functionality. This speedier release cycle will benefit both current and prospective customers.
For customers who already own Microsoft Dynamics GP, this means instead of having to wait eighteen months to two years between major version releases, you will now be able to add additional features to Dynamics GP every 6 months or so. Best of all, these new features will be free, maximizing your return on investment.
For businesses shopping for their first ERP solution, or looking to replace an outdated business system, the faster release cadence for Microsoft Dynamics GP means that you won’t have to worry that your business will outgrow the system shortly after you implement it.
